Social Media Integration: Data from connected WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger accounts via Facebook's APIs.

How to Delete Your Data

Self-Service Account Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data by following these steps:

Navigate to Account Settings from the profile menu

Step 3

Select the Security tab

Step 4

Scroll down to the account management section

Step 5

Click on Delete Account

Step 6

Follow the confirmation steps to permanently delete your account and data

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. All your data will be removed from our systems.

Data Handled by Third-Party Services

DialogDeals integrates with WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger through Facebook's APIs. While deleting your account with us removes the data we store, you may need to manage permissions separately with these platforms:

Facebook Integrations

To revoke permissions for DialogDeals:

Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy
Click on Settings
Select "Apps and Websites"
Find DialogDeals and remove access

WhatsApp Business API

To manage WhatsApp connections:

Open WhatsApp on your device
Go to Settings > Account > Security
Review and manage connected applications

Manual Data Deletion Request

Email Deletion Request

If you're unable to delete your account through your settings, you can contact our data protection team to request manual deletion of your data:

Email your deletion request to:

Please include the following in your request:

The email address associated with your account
Your full name
Company name (if applicable)
Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

We will process your request within 30 days and send confirmation once completed.

Data Retention Policy

Even after account deletion, we may retain certain information for the following periods:

Backup data: Up to 30 days for technical recovery purposes
Legal requirements: Information required by law for tax, compliance, or legal obligations
Anonymized data: We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you
